It’s no joke that during quarantine people have started new hobbies, learned new skills, and started to DIY pretty much anything that they set their mind to.
I am no exception to this!
I went platinum last year and tried oVetrone to temporarily go pink and loved it! I even went for a dark brown/black and loved the blue undertone it gave my hair.
The dark blue was such a fun look during the winter. Their products are tinting conditioners are well pigmented and the best part about it is that they are vegan products so no harsh chemicals are damaging your hair.
So since it is quarantine and summertime, I figured why not go for it again right?
Not only did I want to bleach my hair but after I went blonde, I wanted to do a dramatic chop too!
After watching tons of videos online on how to bleach and cut your own hair, I just went for it. It was a process that I believe that Brad Mondo would’ve been proud of if I do say so myself.
I decided to try new colors this time and got their rose gold and pastel purple coloring set.
They were definitely a moment but it was hard not to wear all black all the time.
There were only so many clothes I have that I felt matched my hair.
Pink for the most part went with everything but it could’ve been the fact that I have had pink hair before.
The purple was definitely different and more of a bold look that I’ve ever tried before.
She was a fun moment but I started to miss being brunette and with fall coming, the dark hair was calling me!
oVetrone also has its brunette collection so I went for their espresso brown color mask.
The undertone is a nice red that looks so nice in the light but may not be what you’re going for if you want a simple brown color.
My hair changes with the seasons and from personal experience with oVetrone, it’s a great way to change your style temporarily without damaging your hair.
I say if you want to change it up a bit without committing to it and not wanting to go to the salon, oVetrone is an easy and affordable way to spice it up while quarantining!
