Quarantine Good Eats!

During this crazy time of COVID-19, I’ve been using my free time to practice my baking and cooking skills.


One of my favorite things to do is bake, especially cupcakes. I’ve been getting better at piping details with buttercream frosting and have even perfected making it from scratch!


Some of my favorite baking bloggers have great recipes that I have followed to make cakes and cupcakes.


My favorite cake is red velvet. Whenever I bake it, I make sure to leave extra to bake some cupcakes for the side.


It was my sister's birthday too so it was fun baking her a cake to celebrate during this time!


I had a few bananas that were overripe which only means— banana bread time! Ripe bananas are perfect for banana bread and for my first time making it, it was so amazing and moist!



To bake for breakfast, I’ve made blueberry pancakes from scratch. The best way to keep them fluffy is by making sure the batter is still thick and clumpy so it doesn’t spill on your pan.


Any pancake tastes great with sliced bananas and raspberry syrup, but that’s just me. I recommend making some pancakes now that there is more time in our days if you're stuck at home!



With my cooking, I’ve always loved making homemade pizza. Nothing tastes better than making it yourself!


The best is when you can add all the toppings as you want. You have a judge-free zone at home!


My favorite is adding turkey pepperoni and BBQ sauce, pineapples if I want to change things up!



Baking the chicken separately definitely made the meal perfect and added some crispy texture to the chicken.


This dish goes perfectly with a glass of your favorite wine if you’re 21+ of course!
