If you haven’t binged watch Emily in Paris on Netflix yet then what are you waiting for?
The series is written by the creator of "Sex and the City" and "Beverly Hills 90210 Darren Star. So if you love SATC, this show is something that you should look into!
There are so many chic looks that I fell in love with throughout the show.
Each character has their own signature style and I’m going to highlight my favorites and sites where you can recreate a main piece of the outfit, but of course, you can recreate each piece with any similar style at your go-to shopping places!
First up, Emily Cooper, the star of the show and no doubt she’d have an amazing wardrobe.
Mindy Chen- The perfect stranger I'd want to become BFF's in Paris and go shopping with!
Camille- A friend we all wish we had along with her professional yet edgy wardrobe.
Sylvie- The mean but fashion-forward French boss I'd love to have.
Although I love the outfits in the series, they were a bit unrealistic for a growing marketing professional in Emily's case. Now I would love to wear Chanel and Moschino but let's be real- it's not in my budget and probably not in Emily's either.
Also, they tried a bit too had on Emily's "French" style and some outfit choices had a bit too much going on. A French-style to me is chic, edgy yet sensually sophisticated. Some of Emily's outfit's reminded me of Gossip Girl a little too much.
Either way, channel your inner fashion chic Emily in Paris character whether it be trés chic looks or your go-to "ringarde" basic b*tch essentials!
